Hebrews chapter thirteen verse five says: Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Look at the last part of the scripture. It emphasizes how God desires to be with us if we just let Him in and be in control of everything in our lives. He loves to commune with us as much as we love to commune with our fellowmen. He yearns to listen to our stories, to walk with us side by side as we spend the morning in the park or in the cafeteria, to go with us to our workplace and keep us safe and sound, to whisper to our ears to calm down as our anger reaches its verge, to teach us in a still small voice that it is wrong to lie and cheat, to provide all our needs and not our wants, to heal us from all our sickness (both physical and mental), to give us mental balance especially at times when we think we have reached the end of our sanity, to protect us from all danger and harm that the evil uses to attack us. God can do so much more than these. He is our Omnipotent Father, who can do so many things out of nothing. He is everywhere all the time. He sees everything that is hidden or revealed. We actually hide nothing from His sight because He is the Father of invisibility. He actually wants us to walk by faith and not by sight since God operates in ways opposite to man. Man is motivated by rewards and benefits but God is motivated by pure love. He does everything out of love. He delivers us from our sins because of His great love for us. He let His only begotten son die on the cross for our sins. If He let His son perish on the cross of Calvary for our salvation, what are other things can He not do for you and me? Absolutely nothing! He is the father who wants nothing but the best for us because He is the best Father we can ever have. If our human fathers here on earth give what we ask of them, how much more of our Heavenly Father who is the source of every good thing? Come to think of it. God is too good to be rude, God is too kind to be unkind, God is too marvelous to be ordinary and God is beautiful beyond description, as part of the song says. No one equates the greatness of God’s love because God is perfect and so He offers perfect love. We, human beings could never offer perfect love as we are imperfect and full of flaws. Every part of our existence is full of flaws but thank God because His perfect nature is capable of covering our imperfection. His mercy (compassion) and grace (generosity) is overflowing in nature and nothing can separate us from His great love except our sin.

However, if we approach God in all humility, He will come to us in all His splendor and majesty. Nothing compares to His great love. He is the only One who can love the unlovable, who can forgive us from all our mire (sins) as a result of our imperfections. We cannot save ourselves nor can we pardon ourselves. Only God can do that for He is impeccable. We can be cleansed from our transgressions through the spotless blood of our Lord Jesus who became the sacrificial lamb for all mankind. All we have to do is to go to Him in sincere prayer and ask Him to forgive us from all our sins. And God, who is blameless and pure, will deliver us from our sins and can make us clean and whole.

Friends, why don’t we go to God in prayer and seek His face with all our heart, with all our soul, with all our mind and with all our strength. We cannot live our lives perfectly unless we let God be in control of our whole being. Let’s surrender everything to Him and our life will never be the same again. We become new creation of God. There’s a new light for us and there’s a reason for us to wake up every morning because we know God is there watching for us. God bless you more in your walk with Him! I love you with the love of the Lord.
