DepEd Region lll conducts Regional Orientation Workshop for the Continuous Improvement Towards Learner Excellence (CITLE) Program

A Regional Orientation Workshop for the Continuous Improvement towards Learners Excellence Program was held last December 26-27, 2013 at Ofel Pampanga, Skyle Plaza Bldg, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The aims of the said orientation workshop were to develop and strengthen quality and continuous improvement of competencies and capacities to ensure learners excellence; enhance good practices in the governance and management of school and between the division and the school leading ultimately to the benefit of the students; and enable teachers and school heads to gain Continuous Improvement (CI) processes, task and structures to provide learner-centered services to internal (student and parents) and external (community) stakeholders.
CITLE is a one year AUS-AID funded project that aims to enhance the skills of school officials in managing school processes and turn schools into leaner-centered institution that continuously improve and build on its best practices. It will support 34 model schools from Region 3, 4-A, 7, 10 and NCR who will cascade the training to the rest of the school system.
Dr. Isabelita M. Borres, Regional Director in her keynote address said that we in the Region was very fortunate because of our inclusion in the said project. She was very hopeful that indeed learners will gain education that prepares them for work and build a culture of excellence in the school through the program. Two (2) secondary schools and two (2) elementary schools from the Division of Bulacan and Pampanga were the recipient schools from Region lll who also presented their successful projects.
The participants from the Division of City of Balanga was Dr. Flordeliza A. del Rosario, Dr. Merlinda C. Dominguez; Mrs. Jeanette L. Andales, Mrs. Annaliza Tuazon, Mrs. Violeta Zeller, Mrs. Jennifer de Guzman, Mrs. Virginia Enriquez and Mrs. Jennifer Vicedo.
