Teaching values appears challenging to some teachers. Teachers play integral role in developing a child’s value system that is why positive attributes should be one of their top priorities. By breaking values into small and meaningful activities, teachers can help change the way a child sees, and interacts with the world.
An educator should discuss values and responsibility to his pupils. She should assist the kids with better understanding the concept of values. She should make the connection and talk about how our values affect our lives.
It is also a good act to bridge the values of kindness and consideration into a project to help the community. Fundraising activities or various community projects will definitely promote global kindness.
Teaching pupils the value of gratefulness is important to their ability to persevere in difficult situations and build stronger connections with people in their lives. To conduct a gratefulness learning activity, start by reviewing the manners around receiving something. Alternating the roles of giver and receiver among our pupils will have them act out the expression of gratefulness.
Another thing that could help in teaching positive attributes is to teach our pupils with heroic qualities. Incorporating heroic figures from the school, community and historic or current events that lead to selfless acts and courage exhibited by the selected heroes will inspire the kids. We should also teach them on how they can give time and efforts to others through charitable work and serving others. At the end of the month, the school should recognize pupils who exhibited desirable characteristics.
