It might lead human to gather experiences and wisdoms in a step by step processes until creating a various chapters of life. Mostly, the first idea of ambition is being planted in a young’s fresh mind that would be rooted the perceptions where one enables to value and pursue his desire.
“To be an educator”, it was my response to the frequent question thrown by concerned people around me. As times went by, there were lots of memories that proved how much I desired to be a teacher someday. I was a 9- year old when I started a make-believe play. I was used to gather my peer neighbors who played as my pupils then my paraphernalia such as chalk, eraser, board, stick, book and my eyeglasses as my props. This desire came into reality. I achieved my license to be called a professional teacher.
Teachings, trainings, seminars, workshops and competitions, my life had been captured by these factors that brought me into a more challenging ambition. I left my teaching career and went abroad aiming to explore and gather new experiences. Working in prestigious company, utilizing modern office equipment, encountering colleagues with various citizenship and earning higher wage have not brought satisfaction to my inner being. Facing different field of work made me realized how much I missed the chalk and board and most specially the learners. Years went by, and finally followed the beat of my heart. Satisfaction, inner happiness and dedication to my oath in teaching were absolutely acquired.
Teaching is often a difficult process, but the end result is very rewarding. Watching a child develop confidence and seeing a student progress in their studies is a very exciting process. It is priceless that teacher will be a part of a life-long learning of every young individual.
Realization, ambition is to gain profession according to one’s passion.
