I’m possible and so are you.

When we were young, our parents taught us that failures are part of being human. In my mind, it is so hard to accept because when we fail, it hurts. A portion of our being dies. Therefore, we avoid failure! Though my parents conditioned us to welcome failures. I do avoid it. I don’t want to be disappointed nor frustrated but if we will not dare to accept it or welcome it, we will be devoid of success and we will not be able to explore new things or experience to be outside of our comfort zone.

Tough times won’t last only tough people do. Successful people endure so much hardships and persevere in their failures. Our dream never happens in a wink of an eye. It takes time and a lot of guts. They grab every opportunity that pass by or sometimes, they also create opportunities for themselves. They are willing to start at the bottom and strive to reach the top despite painful struggles. They volunteer for a menial job just to be in the company that they long want to belong. They treat themselves low so they can feel the sweet fruit of their hard labor.

Truly, everything is possible. There is no such word as impossible because I AM POSSIBLE with God as my fortress. Now, I realize why my parents want me to welcome FAILURES as one of the most essential components of my being human. Our ability to overcome failures and disappointments matters so much. It is not easy. It can sweep you down. It can also crush your perspective but surely, it can bear good outcome.
