District I selected teachers together with their principals took action by attending District Learning Action Cell in Conducting Action Research and Revisiting AIP and SIP held on September 27-28, 2012 at Balanga Elementary School AVR, Balanga City.
This two-day activity spearheaded by Dr. Merlinda T. Tablan , PSDS District I aimed to equip teachers the needed information on how to conduct action research which are necessary for them to solve existing problems in the class and to provide teachers the knowledge on revisiting the Annual Implementation Plan and School Improvement Plan.
DisLAC was made possible with the help of Dr. Ronaldo A. Pozon, schools division superintendent, Dr. Carolina L. Sugpatan, assistant schools division superintendent-OIC and Ms. Yolanda A. Pruna, EPS I-Mathematics. With their generosity, Dr. Pozon delivered his inspirational message and shared tips on planning and writing action research which is also the topic discussed by Dr. Sugpatan. She also discussed the different parts of action research given emphasis on the Action research format. The topic about revisiting AIP and SIP was explicitly tackled by Dr. Tablan.
A positive outlook on action research is highly encouraged the District I teachers.
