Schools both public and private in the Division of Balanga City displayed and raised their flag in support of the National Flag Day. This year’s celebration aims to instill in our minds the greatness of our race, the legacy of our heroes and the ideals of nationhood and to unite and celebrate the freedom and liberty of our Nation.

For us to achieve these aims, it is suggested that significant events in history that led to the proclamation of Independence be taken up in the classroom discussions. Also, teachers may conduct related activities such as classroom-based essay writing, poster making, declamation and many others that will enhance the significance of the celebration.
