Date posted: July 20, 2020Time is a precious commodity and our mindset towards it will determine if it is our friend or enemy.
We are all bounded with the concept of time. If we think about it in the work place we are paid by giving our time. That’s why the notion of the biometrics or timecard or any other time in and out recording device is crucial in the work environment.
But somehow in many situation we view time as an enemy especially in the work environment. We oftentimes view it as a supply that will always run out. A lot of times we look time the clock and we realize we only have so little time left but with still so many things to do. Then, we somehow get depressed and worst, sometimes starts to doubt our capabilities.
But if we take a better look at the idea of time, it can work to our advantages as well as to our disadvantages. If we dig deeper into its depth, time is like a two-faced coin that can work for us or against us.
Basically, the concept of time and its effect in our lives especially in the workplace depends on our attitude towards it.
Certainly, time is a constant in this world that just keep on running. In the work place, it is a factor that begets stress, anxiety and even anger.
But as I have already mentioned it is the way we view time that we can make work in our favor or not. Because more than the concept of logging in when we arrive at the office before we start our day’s work and logging out when we are all done for the day, time is actually an idea that keep us in check in doing our jobs. It is the notion of time that makes us organize in the delivery of service. It is the concept time that keep us in motion towards the achievement of our organizational goals.
If we think deeper, we will realize that time will never run out, there will be always time for us to be better tomorrow or in the next time after. But today we should strive to give our best efforts no matter how pressing the situation and how fast time is ticking on the background.
Time is not our enemy but a guiding principle for us to always strive for the better version of ourselves as we move forward.
In conclusion, time keeps us moving. Time makes us strive to be efficient in the deliverance of service.
