Importance of Learners’ Communicative Skills

Possessing a good set of communicative skills has a massive impact on a person’s daily activities. It will increase the probability of having healthy relationships, acquiring what you want and as well, getting your message across. Having the said skills will be able to help you avoid possible conflicts and solve problems.

As the classroom serves as the second home for our learners and the school being part of their mesosystem, developing good communicative skills play a pivot role in order to bridge two settings in a learners’ life that might be unrelated.

Since communication is a two-way process wherein the source sends their message trough a channel to be acquired by the receiver, there might be barriers and distractions while getting the message across. However, these barriers could be easily overcome with the proper choice of words, tone, pitch and emotion.

Communication skills is an essential for every learner in order to secure their successful future career past their school life. In this modern world of competition, having in store this set of skill will be an advantage to the 21st century learners towards the industry that they want to thrive in.
