ALAY LAKAD 2008

The City Government of Balanga will celebrate its annual Fiesta on April 4 – 29, 2008. Included in the month - long celebration of programs and activities is a walk for a cause, ALAY LAKAD 2008 which will be held on April 4 at 6:00am starting from the City Plaza, with the theme “ Sama – samang Hakbang, Alay sa Batang Lansangan.” Beneficiaries of this walk is Bahay – Panuluyan, house and processing center for abandoned and neglected street children.

In support for this activity, Deped family headed by Dr. Lilia M. Santiago, Balanga City Schools Division Superintendent together with thirty (30) school administrators and supervisors will join the said event. All participants will be wearing the official Alay – Lakad printed shirts as assistance to the needy and destitute children .
