Foreign Language besides English Language is no longer new in Bataan National High School, way back 2012 BNHS offered Mandarin under the Special Program in Foreign Language. Indeed mandarin class is doing well, hence, for the school year 2015-2016 another foreign language for the students will be offered, la Idioma Española.

In accordance with Dep. Ed. Order No. 5, s. 2015 last April 15-May 27, 2015, for the period of 43 days, Summer Training Course for Teachers of Special Program in foreign Language (SPFL)-Spanish was held at Instituto Cervantes, Manila, Philippines.

The objective of the Summer Training Course is to build the capacity of teachers in the diverse aspects involved in teaching/learning a second foreign language. The participants of the activity are secondary school teachers of the school implementing the program and new expansion schools for Spanish. For the students basic Spanish is designed to develop the macro skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and viewing using simple and practical language. It enable students to use the language in day-to-day conversations. It is designed to prepare students for more complex interactions and more formal use of the language.

In this new and fast-moving changing world one of the major weapon to adapt with globalization is communication. Language is the best way to communicate with others. At present, BNHS is proud to say that in Bataan Peninsula we are the only school which offers Spanish Language. Students of BNHS have their advantage of learning new medium of communication. Through Spanish and Mandarin students are empowered and can easily communicate with the world.
