According to Pablo Picasso, every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once a child grows up. Not all students may have the same perspectives in their lives but all of them have the right to have the appropriate outlet to express themselves which a school can and must provide.

Art that we are all most familiar with is what we call Visual arts. It includes Paintings, Drawings, Sculptures and Photography. We also have Applied art which is a portion of visual art and it can be defined as art that has real-world application as well as functionality. This includes Architecture, Fashion Design, Wood Crafts and Interior Design. Another form of art is the Performing art which is that form of art which includes dance, music, opera, films, theater, drama, magic shows and stand up comedies. It is the most celebrated and appreciated form of art.

Students, just like art, learn in various ways and may express their knowledge, skills and abilities in different kinds of medium which arts and design can provide. Knowing that schools are pursuing their very best in providing all possible opportunities to learn and to be appreciated can encourage more students to treat them their second home.
