August 6, 2018 – The Schools Division of City of Balanga and Philippine Dental Association – Bataan Chapter has signed a Memorandum of Agreement establishing partnership between agencies in promoting oral health among children with special needs thru “PDA Serbisyong Pinoy” program. The program acknowledges that behavioral change and upstream oral health promotion is most appropriate in solving the dental caries problem in the Philippines. Thus, continuing education on public health and community service must be included.

Present during the MOA signing are the OIC-SDS of Deped City of Balanga, Dr. Carolina S. Violeta, SGOD Chief Dr. Flordeliza A. Del Rosario, Education Program Supervisor for SpEd CSN Ms. Lorna V. Guinto, PDA-Bataan Chapter President Dr. Fenny Rose G. Jimenez and Dr. Lyndon Jimenez. Also, Dr. Rogelio N. Gonzales Jr., Medical Officer III, and Dr. Frecelyn Q. De Jesus, Dentist II, of School Health & Nutrition Unit witnessed the event along with Dr. Merlinda C. Dominguez, Officer-in-Charge of Bataan National High School and Ms. Aisee Cruz, teacher from BNHS handling Sped CSNs.
