Balanga City SPAs bag best output awards in RTOT

Balanga City delegates to the Regional Training of Trainers (RTOT) on Campus Journalism made it through the best outputs list in all categories during the four-day training at the Regional Educational Learning Center (RELC) in Pulungbulu, Angeles City on February 24-26.

Members of Balanga City delegates to the said training includes SPAs from Tortugas ES, Tenejero ES, Cataning ES, Cupang ES and City of Balanga National High School namely Carla D. Rivera, Edelyn T. Manalaysay, Mary Rose B. Caguillo, Priscila S.B Roxas and Mary Ann G. Balajo respectively with Mrs. Marlyn B. Gerio, EPS I in English.

Roxas and Manalaysay landed first in Science Writing and Collaborative On-line Publishing respectively while Caguillogot 2nd and 3rd place awards in Sports Writing both in Filipino. Rivera and Balajo also emerged 3rd place in Copy Reading & Headline Writing and Radio Broadcasting & Scriptwriting respectively. Mrs. Gerio’s observation and evaluation, on the other hand, was also chosen to be part of the gallery of outputs as one of the most well-written observations given by the EPSs. Meanwhile, the group is already planning the next division training after learning the current trends and latest developments on campus journalism “There are too many developments on campus journalism now which we will be sharing when we conduct our Division Echo Training very soon” Mrs. Gerio said.
